DAN BAIN

Dan Bain has been a theatre director, playwright, improvisor, street performer, actor, motivational speaker, and jelly wrestler since graduating from clown school in 2001. Mostly though he’s good at being funny - he literally wrote the book on improvised comedy.  He co-created cult improv sensation Perfuct Storm and is the creator of the bafflingly popular sleep-aid podcast Dan Bain’s Sleepy Time Mumbles. As a standup his comedy reflects his unique perspective and cheerful vulgarity, all filtered through his desperate attempts to appear clever. A permanent, persistent, peculiar fixture in the landscape of pro-comedy in Ōtautahi, he does not quit. You'll enjoy yourself, or he’ll die trying.

GEORGIA WEST-CAHILL

Ever wondered what it would look like if John Hughes made a shopping mall in the 90’s and someone turned that shopping mall into a person? That person would be Georgia West Cahill. Georgia is one of the most exciting and unique voices in Otautahi comedy. She has her own distinct brand of humor, a knack for sharp gags with absurd twists, and a love for nostalgia. She also has a fondness for hats, perhaps so she has something to contain her endless amounts of nonsense and whimsy!
