House of Zim takes over 161

OneSixOne on Chapel Street has been one of Australia's most iconic house music venues since 1999, IYKYK. A light-up dancefloor that was basically built for exactly this. Comfy red booths, gold railing trimmings and a vibe that sits somewhere between 70s nightclub and VIP lounge. Completely ours for the night, with 90s and 00s house, pop + R&B.

FAQS

Can I come on my own? Plenty of ladies come on their own! Come and say hello to us and we will make some introductions when we can. Or just hit the dancefloor and make some friends there.

What should I wear? Whatever makes you feel fab and comfortable. We see sequins and sneakers in equal measure. There are no rules.

Do you check ages? We trust you. This night is for women 35+, so please keep it that way.

Can I get a refund or transfer my ticket? We don't offer refunds, but there are often people who need to buy or sell tickets when their plans change. Post in Instagram comments or DM us and we'll try to connect you.

Is there food? 161 doesn't serve food but there are plenty of options nearby.

How do I get there? Trams on Route 6 stop out front on High Street right outside the venue. Routes 72 and 78 stop a short walk away near the intersection of Commercial Road/Malvern Road and Chapel Street, providing easy north-south and east-west links.
