This discussion will bring together key community organisations and voters to discuss the most pressing housing challenges in Bennelong and explore solutions for a more affordable and fair housing system.
With housing affordability and availability at a breaking point, millions of Australians are struggling to find a safe, secure place to call home. This event offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from Mr Laxale about his vision for addressing these challenges and to engage in a collaborative discussion on how we can create a fairer housing system for all.

Maiy Azize
Maiy is National Spokesperson for Everybody’s Home. She is also the Deputy Director of Anglicare Australia - a network of welfare and caring organisations linked to the Anglican Church.
Leo Patterson Ross
Leo is the CEO of the Tenants’ Union of NSW and has worked in housing justice and community development for 15 years. He has spent more than a decade advocating for and assisting renters.
Jerome Laxale
Jerome is the Labor member for Bennelong, serving on Ryde council from 2012 including as the mayor for five years. He is passionate about health, housing, enhancing multiculturalism, and prioritising effective local representation.
