Housing Justice Essentials

Australia is experiencing a steadily and rapidly increasing housing crisis.

Home ownership is out of reach to most. Fewer people can afford a decent rental. For almost 20 years now, the number of people who experience homelessness in Australia has been steadily increasing.

Why are we here? What can we do about it?

Housing Justice Essentials is a series of 21 short workshops that are designed to facilitate a collective exploration of these issues and the necessary features of a more just society.

We (Skye and Chris) have designed this workshop series drawing on our lived, professional, advocacy, and research experience with issues of housing justice.

Despite, or because of, our decades of experience in working with homelessness and housing issues we still have many questions about how housing justice might be achieved in Australia. We look forward to learning alongside you and collectively moving towards something better!
