How AI is Disrupting Healthcare
Event description
Use of software and other tools, powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning, will have a major impact on healthcare around the globe. In the U.S. alone, the annual healthcare market is more than $5 trillion, 18% of GDP and nearly $15,000 per person.
Use of AI is growing across healthcare: automating billing and medical records; devices tracking a patient’s medical condiion; reading radiology and other scans; enhancing treatments; speeding up clinical trials; and in research for new drugs and cures.
While jobs like those of billing staff and radiologists is at risk, there is rising demand for those with skills for developing, implementing, and managing AI systems in healthcare.

Alexey earned a PhD in AI from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar; an MS in Bioengineering and Machine Learning from Stanford; an MBA from Harvard; and an MD from Tishreen University, Syria.
