How Does Social-Emotional Development Impact Student Learning?
Event description
Free and open to new and returning volunteers, working with students at the elementary, middle and high school levels.
What are the social and emotional milestones of the students you work with? How do those milestones influence their relationships and ability to learn? In this session with Alice Cohen, you'll learn to understand and connect with your students. You'll also get the tools and strategies to help them build resilience, sustain attention, and resolve conflicts, so you can best support them in their growth.
