Kick off 2025 with an inspiring and engaging evening featuring Mary Moody —renowned journalist, author, tour guide, gardener, and former ABC Gardening Australia presenter.
Mary’s gardening wisdom blossomed during her decade on Gardening Australia (1991–2001), where she focused on plants and gardens in NSW. Since then, she has continued to inspire through her books, publications, and her beautiful garden in Blackheath, which many of you may recognizefrom the Blue Mountains Edible Garden Trail.
After moving from her Yetholme farm following her husband's passing, Mary now shares her Blackheath home with her family. Her enduring passions—family, food, gardening, and travel—continue to shape her vibrant journey.
What to Expect:
Mary will share her wealth of knowledge on organic gardening and the countless benefits it brings.
Learn about her personal journey from television gardening to cultivating thriving edible landscapes in the Blue Mountains.
Enjoy a community-shared dinner—bring a plate of food to share, your cup, your plate, your cutlery AND some coins for the raffle.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with one of Australia’s most beloved gardening personalities and gain practical insights to nurture your own garden—and soul.
