This course is suitable for year 11 and year 12 English Advanced Students

Over the three days you will cover:
1. Introduction to Module C: The Craft of Writing and tips from the marking centre
2. Introduction to the different styles of writing
2. Close analysis of prescribed texts
4. Dissecting exemplar responses
5. Practice writing and feedback sessions
Online Sessions on 2nd, 3rd and 4th April 2023 - 2 hours per dayÂ

ABOUTÂ Yang Sun
An outstanding, sought-after English Teacher with decades of experience.Â
Yang is an experienced English teacher with more than ten years of classroom expertise. She previously worked at Moriah College where they ranked 3rd in the state for English in 2017 and 9th in the state in 2018.Â
Previously, she was Assistant Head of English, Debating and Public Speaking Coordinator and the Literacy and Digital Coordinator.Â
Yang has a Bachelor of Secondary Education/Bachelor of Arts (English/History) and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney.Â
The knowledge she will share over these sessions will inspire and give a huge advantage to Year 11's for the Reading to Write module and Year 12's for the trial and HSC exams.
