How To Ace Paper 1, Section 1 Under Examination Conditions

This is a 2-hour intensive online workshop designed to prepare Year 12 Advanced and Standard English students from all schools to excel in the unseen section of HSC Paper 1.

Paper 1, Section 1 is often the most unpredictable part of the HSC English exam. Success requires sharp analytical skills, clarity under pressure, and the ability to respond confidently to unseen texts. In this focused workshop, Yang will equip students with the strategies and structures needed to approach this section with precision and control.

Students will learn how to quickly unpack unseen texts, interpret questions accurately, structure high-quality responses under timed conditions, and maximise marks through clear, purposeful analysis.

Student Testimonial:

"This helped me so much! Yang explains everything perfectly and makes it easy to understand. After 2 days, I have already seen such an improvement!"

" Our session was not only engaging, but I actually felt like I was actively gaining the skills that I need to succeed."

Online Session:

Thursday 5 March – 4:30pm to 6:30pm

What the workshop will cover:

Students will explore examination techniques, preparation strategies and high-scoring sample responses.
