2.5 hours of intensive preparation online and live with Yang Sun to inspire Year 11 Standard English Students to ace the Year 11 English Exam. This course is for Moriah College Students only.

Online Session on Sunday 20th Aug 11am - 1.30pm

Day 1: How To Ace Short Answer Questions

You will be explicitly taught how to dissect short answer questions under examination conditions and tips and tricks on how to maximise your marks in this section of the exam.

There will be opportunities for you to engage in some practice writing during the workshop and you will receive immediate feedback.

There is an optional extra to have your work marked by Yang where she gives her students direct feedback. 

ABOUT Yang Sun

An outstanding, sought after English Teacher with decades of experience. 

Yang is a senior English teacher at Marist College, Eastwood with more than ten years of teaching experience. 

She was part of the Moriah College English Department when they came 3rd in the state for English in 2017 and 9th in the state in 2018. Her students have consistently achieved Band 6s in the HSC Advanced and English Extension 1 courses. 

Previously, she has been an Assistant Head of English, Debating and Public Speaking Coordinator and the Literacy and Digital Coordinator. 

Yang is currently studying a Master degree in Creative Writing at the University of Sydney. 

In her spare time, she likes to research the field of educational psychology and develop resources on fostering metacognitive learners. 

The knowledge Yang will share over these sessions will inspire and give a huge advantage for the upcoming Year 11 preliminary exam and set the foundation for HSC Standard English.
