Event description

The UTS Disability Research Network invites you to learn more about how you can design and budget for more inclusive research.

The UTS Disability Research Network is hosting our first peer feedback workshop to support UTS academics who are interested in applying for funding and leading inclusive research projects.

The event is designed for academics and professional staff interested in learning how to structure and budget for more inclusive research. Research funders and competitive grant processes, across all categories of funding, increasingly value community-led and inclusive research approaches to project structure and delivery.

This workshop has relevance for researchers at any stage of their career, with an interest in learning ways to structure and budget for inclusion and participation of community at all stages of a research project. This session is open to all fields of research - with relevance to researchers who work with communities, including, but not limited to, disability-related inclusion.

In this workshop we will be hosting small feedback sessions, so bring along one of your research outlines and budgets: either from a completed project or one that is currently being developed. We will have UTS Disability Research Network members who have undertaken inclusive research ready to share their inclusive research experiences with you and provide feedback on your prospective projects.

Please note - this is an in-person event. Please let us know at registration if you have any access needs.
