Outline

Running a community event takes more than good intentions. It takes a plan, a clear budget, practical logistics, and the confidence to lead stakeholders and volunteers through delivery day.

This practical, full-day workshop will help you work through the essentials of organising a community event, from your first idea and planning meetings through to delivery and evaluation.

Whether you’re volunteering on a committee, organising a local celebration or helping a community group deliver its next event, you’ll build skills and take away tools to support your planning.

When: Wednesday 17 February 2027, 9:30 am–5 pm

Where: Barossa Park, Lyndoch

Cost: $20 Town of Gawler residents | $30 Barossa Council residents | $40 for residents of other council areas.
