How to Make a Submission to the Surrogacy Review

Online Event
Add to calendar

Tue, 10 Jun, 4am - 5am EDT

Event description

The Australian Law Reform Commission is reviewing Australia’s surrogacy laws. Submissions on the Issues Paper will be open in June and close in July 2025.

Submissions from the community – intended parents and parents through surrogacy, surrogates and their partners and persons born will be crucial for informing the review and the recommendations.

Curious how you can make a submission and what to include? Join Sarah Jefford, family creation lawyer, to find out about the Review and workshop what to include in your submission.

The Zoom session will be recorded and available on request. Please do not share the Zoom link – everyone who wishes to attend must register beforehand.

You can read more about the review on the ALRC website, and on Sarah’s website www.sarahjefford.com

Resources will be provided before and after the event as they become available.
