If you ever get lost in the Milky Way, call astronomer Professor Naomi McClure-Griffiths for directions. She has been unlocking the evolution and fate of our galaxy with the world’s biggest and best telescopes – including CSIRO’s impressive Australian Square Kilometre Array Pathfinder.Â
Naomi has seen amazing things. For instance, did you know the Milky Way eats other galaxies to keep building stars? Naomi takes us on a tour through our gaseous, magnetic and seemingly magical Milky Way...Â

Take a break from pandemics, fires and floods and join us at the Judith Neilson Institute for an evening of ideas and inspiration.Â
Doors open 6:00pm and close at 6:25pm for a 6:30pm sharp start.Â
