How to prototype anything (and magnify your impact)

Event description

Prototyping sounds hard to do, but it isn't.

You don't need a big budget, or to be part of an innovation team - you don't even need much time.

Let us show you how to get great feedback on your ideas. We'll show you how to use prototypes to make sure you find the right solution to everything–from internal tools, to the experience of your teams, conversations, to products and services and futures.

In this fun, hands-on session, you'll learn:

  • How to make and use a range of prototypes and when to use them, using nothing more than a few scavenged resources
  • How to gain deep insights into your audience, their needs and behaviours - you'll go beyond simple 'testing', using prototypes as an opportunity to learn
  • How to get brilliant feedback that you can actually use to make your solutions better
  • How to prototype for accessibility and inclusion, making sure that your solutions cater for diverse needs
  • How to put prototypes into practice right away

Who this session is for:

Techniques covered in this session will be valuable for anyone trying to make improvements or create change in their role. Yes, that's pretty much everyone - you definitely don't have to be a designer!
