How to start your own social enterprise
Description
Got an idea, a passion, or a community you'd love to make better? In this hands-on workshop, Sarah Nelson, CEO of Young Change Agents, shares how young people across Australia and New Zealand learn to see problems as opportunities, then gets you working on your own idea.
Sarah will step you through the Young Change Agents approach with questions like:
- What communities do you belong to and care about?
- What do you like, or dislike, about what you see in them?
- How could you solve a problem those communities face?
- How might that become a social enterprise?
- Who would you want on your team?
Then it's your turn. You'll work in small teams on real social enterprise ideas from the room.
How it runs (60 mins): 20 mins guided session, 20 mins hands-on team work, 20 mins share-back and Q&A.
Bring an idea, or just bring a community you care about. No experience needed.
