Description

How to Succeed on Canva as a Nonprofit

Date: October 29

Time: 12.30pm to 1.30pm

Presenter: Alecia Hancock

Location: On Zoom webinar

Cost: $60

Social media sessions are recorded and shared with registered attendees who are unable to attend on the scheduled date and time.

Outline:

Your nonprofit has stories to tell, events to promote and supporters to engage, often without a dedicated designer or a big budget. This practical session shows you how to use Canva to create clear, engaging materials for your cause.

We’ll cover what Canva offers, how to make the most of your account, and how to turn templates into designs that reflect your organisation rather than looking like everyone else’s. You’ll learn design fundamentals and useful techniques for creating social posts, flyers and presentations, along with tips to keep your work consistent and save your team time.

Aligned with LiiFT’s Digital Capability & Communications area, this session is ideal for organisations at the Foundations and Strengthen stages.

Feedback from previous participants:

"The presentation was well informed through research and real-life examples. It provided clear, practical steps that I can apply."

"I found the overview of which social media platforms are popular with different audiences very useful. I also appreciated the four strategies for great activation.
