Sat, 3 Oct, 7pm - 8:30pm EDT

Description

In this monthly teaching series, Ven. Robina offers practical, no-nonsense Buddhist tools for working with the mind and meeting everyday life with greater clarity, courage, and compassion. Drawing on Buddhist psychology and her decades of teaching experience, these sessions explore how our habits of thinking create both suffering and freedom and how we can train the mind to respond more wisely to whatever life brings.

Each talk is grounded, challenging, and deeply practical, with plenty of real-world examples and time for reflection. These teachings are suitable for both newcomers and long-time practitioners.

These teachings are held online via Zoom and are open to everyone, whether you're new to Buddhism or looking to deepen your understanding.

This month Ven. Robina will focus on one of life’s biggest challenges: dealing with difficult people. Rather than trying to change others, she explores how these situations become powerful opportunities to train patience, compassion, and emotional intelligence.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain practical tools for navigating life with wisdom and compassion.
