Series Overview

Are you ready to transform your organization’s culture to one that is inclusive, growth-oriented, and empowering for your employees? Join The Center’s five-session training series to develop the foundational skills and knowledge needed. All sessions are facilitated synchronously via Zoom.

Program Outline

This learning series includes five sessions. Sessions will be held approximately once a week (15 PDCs total). Completion of all five sessions grants the attendee a certificate. The topics, descriptions, and dates/times are as follows:

Session 1: Accountability Part I: Reframing Accountability - From Punishment to Performance (3 PDCs) 
May 2 (9am-12pmPDT)
    • Shift accountability from punishment to a tool for growth and success.
    • Equip employees with skills to take ownership and hold others accountable.
    • Build trust and open communication to support accountability.
Session 2: Accountability Part II: Applying Accountability - Case Studies  & Practical Strategies (3 PDCs) 
May 23 (9am-12pmPDT)
    • Learn from case studies on effective accountability in action
    • Navigate accountability across different work styles and backgrounds.
    • Apply practical steps to build a workplace accountability culture.
Session 3: Building a Strong Feedback Culture - Strategies for Growth and Engagement (3 PDCs)
June 27 (9am-12pmPDT)
    • Learn practical frameworks and processes for giving and receiving feedback effectively.
    • Create a safe and supportive environment where feedback is encouraged at all levels.
    • Understand the positive impact of a feedback-driven culture on performance, trust, and team success.
Session 4: Effective Supervision - Strategies for Thriving Employees (3 PDCs)
July 25 (9am-12pmPDT)
    • Leverage culturally responsive supervision to strengthen engagement, trust, and retention.
    • Actionable strategies to create a supervisory approach that drives individual and organizational success.
    • Recognize and address biases that impact supervision and workplace performance.
    Session 5: Navigating People & Culture - Conversations in a Changing Landscape (3 PDCs)
    August 22 (9am-12pmPDT)
      • Define and align language that supports fairness, belonging, and workplace success.
      • Learn how to navigate difficult conversations while keeping people and culture efforts moving forward.
      • Develop communication strategies that foster engagement, trust, and shared commitment to workplace excellence.

    The Center is recognized by SHRM to offer Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® recertification activities.
