Event description

Feeling unprepared for HSC Chemistry? Need a refresher of the important content you’ve learned so far in the Organic Chemistry (Module 7) Topic? Want to get ahead for 2025??

In this 3-hour Year 12 Kickstarter Holiday Workshop, we’re going to help you master key challenging areas from what you learnt in the first Term of Year 12 and kickstart you into 2025 content!

We will help you:
  • Review the most challenging and important parts of the Year 12 course so far!
  • Revise the properties of organic molecules
  • Go over organic reaction pathways
  • Learn the structure and function of polymers
  • Kickstart next term’s content on Analysis of Inorganic Substances
  • Apply these concepts to the syllabus and work through typical exam-style questions
Why is it important to master this now?

These are the concepts that sit in the engine room of all the incoming Chemistry for your HSC. Don’t go into 2025 with gaps in your understanding – it’s going to make the HSC course a lot more challenging. This workshop therefore will help you build a strong foundation so you can excel in your HSC, while also getting you started on the Year 12 material so you’re ready to hit the ground running next term!
