Advanced Manufacturing Facility Industry Briefing
Description
The High Speed Rail Authority invites interested organisations to attend an industry briefing for the delivery of an Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) on the Newcastle to Sydney High Speed Rail project, which is currently in the Development Phase.
The AMF Contractor will design, build and operate a state-of-the-art facility.
It will bring together advanced manufacturing, technology and precision engineering to produce major components for Australia’s High Speed Rail, including precast concrete elements and modular assemblies, which will be manufactured, assembled, tested and stored, then supplied to other delivery packages.
High Speed Rail will be the first major Australian infrastructure project to fully embed advanced manufacturing techniques – a vital innovation that will drive significant efficiency, building capability, skills and supply chains for the future.
In parallel with the procurement of the AMF, the Authority is undertaking an Expression of Interest process to identify suitable land for the development of the AMF. This includes processes for landowners and other interested parties to register suitable sites.
Join us to hear more about the AMF opportunities and the role industry can play in delivering generations of opportunities for manufacturing in Australia.
