HTSA Consumer and Community Involvement Annual Event
Event description
Join us for this year's event to explore how genuine and impactful connections between researchers and communities can be supported by the structures and contexts around us.
Hear from the head of the NHMRC (Professor Steve Wesselingh), CCI leads, researchers, and community members as they share real-world examples of what supports are needed to foster genuine and meaningful relationships as this practice becomes increasingly required to receive funding.Â
Speakers will share their strategies for authentic engagement, and how communities can best prepare to engage in research.Â
This event is a unique opportunity for researchers, community leaders, and advocates to enhance the impact of research by prioritising meaningful and inclusive engagement.
A light lunch will be served during the session.Â
