Watipa is a social enterprise working to enable equal societies, just development and better health for all.

Powered by the belief that a just world is possible, our work seeks to inform and catalyse positive social change. Its unique model combines high-quality consulting and research services with youth scholarships, mentorship, leadership programs, and program implementation.

Watipa has worked internationally since 2016, and focused in Australia since 2021. We relocated to Sawtell in 2023, and since then have developed place-based activities in our local area - Gumbaynggirr Country in the Coffs Harbour region, Mid North Coast, NSW.

Our flagship projects seek to achieve impact in three main ways:

* enabling inclusive, person-centred health care with and for diverse local communities

* convening inclusive community-led activities for women and girls, where no limits are imposed according to any gender

* strengthening local social Impact leadership by extending mentorship to “pay it forward” in local communities
