Story and Playtime for Toddlers
Description
Looking for a fun, welcoming environment where your little ones can socialise and play in Italian? Join our Saturday morning Toddlers’ Italian Group! Children get the chance to make friends while nurturing their language skills, and parents also have the opportunity to meet like-minded families and strengthen their own cultural ties.
Each week, our educator reads a new Italian story, plays Italian music, and leads action-based singing and dancing. By imitating gestures, using props, and following visuals, toddlers naturally make sense of the songs and pick up vocabulary. In this friendly and immersive setting—where Italian is spoken by everyone—young learners build confidence and enjoy an authentic community atmosphere. It’s a fantastic way for children and parents alike to have fun, connect, and celebrate Italian language and culture!
We are able to offer this program free of charge thanks to the support of the State Library of Western Australia through the Better Beginnings Community Grant Program.
