Event description
Join Jenny (the sheep farmer) at our farm on the beautiful Awhitu Peninsula, rural Auckland, to learn how to felt wool and make useful products; coasters, wool pot, keep cup cosy, needle rest and xmas baubles. To do this you will also learn simple embroidery stitches all using the beautiful, natural wool from the farm. A simple lunch of Aunty Elsie's pinwheel scones and morning tea is provided. You are most welcome to bring your own food if this doesn't suit your diet. A day of calm crafting in a rural setting. Have a look at fromthefarm.nz instagram to learn more.
