Diwali Night: The House Party 🪔

Saturday 7 November 2026 | 6:00pm to 10:00pm | Brisbane | 18+

No club. No queue. No $18 drinks. Just a proper Diwali house party, with food and games. Come with friends or come solo and you’ll know half the room by dinner.

The front door
You’re greeted with a fruit punch, a rangoli to step around and a diya-lit welcome.

The kitchen
Where every house party ends up anyway. The chaat counter is here: tangy, spicy and slightly addictive. Expect pain puri, bhel puri, etc, all labelled for dietary needs. Nobody leaves hungry, and nobody leaves without a plate.

Games night headquarters.

• UNO: friendships on the line.

• Playing cards and Do Patti: trust nobody.

• Tambola: auntie energy activated.

• Raja Rani Sipahi: alliances will be broken.

The photo corner
Decor, marigolds, props and questionable decisions. Yes, you’ll want the photo.

The back deck
Fairy lights, LED diyas and phuljhadi-style sparkle, Step out here when the lounge gets too loud.

The dance floor (aka the hallway)
Bollywood, Punjabi pop and a few English hits. Someone will start it. It might be you.

The fridge (BYO)
Bring your own drinks and we’ll find space for them. We’re generous, not a liquor store. Water, soft drinks and ice are provided.

House rules

1. Mingle. If you came with someone, abandon them for one game.

2. Dress traditional ONLY. (We are lying mostly)

3. Respect the host’s house and everything in it.

4. Phones out for photos, away for the games.

5. Keep it kind. Everyone’s here to have a good night.

Good to know

• 18+ only, and 40 guests max. It’s a house, not a stadium.

• Neighbours: We like them, so we’ll keep the volume reasonable later in the night.

• Refunds and transfers: No refunds
