Strengthen your farm's future with a Farm Business Resilience Plan
Event description
What's your plan for the next drought, fire, flood or downturn?
You can't predict the next setback to hit your farm, but you can prepare for it so that your productivity and profitability are protected.
The Resilience Farming Tas Program allows you to take a step back from the day-to-day and focus on the big picture.
Resilient Farming Tas and Tasmanian Women in Agriculture are collaborating to run a series of three half day face-2-face workshops in Launceston. The workshops will be open to all farmers (female and male). All participants in the workshops must be enrolled in the RFT Program to benefit from the opportunities offered.
Workshop Dates:
Workshop 1: 23 July (9am to 1pm)
Workshop 2: 9 August (9am to 1pm)
Workshop 3: 28 August (9am to 12pm)
Workshops will be focused on identified key areas:
Workshop 1 & 2: Digital Literacy and Cyber Security; Produce Marketing and the Art of Negotiation; Farm Biosecurity and Carbon without the Jargon.
Workshop 3: Topic will be set with the participants based on the group needs.
We’ll help you identify risks and opportunities, and turn them into a practical, realistic plan. At the end of each workshop, participants will leave with a risk assessment, resources and tools. The skills and strategies you gain will benefit your business well beyond the program.
