Hui Tau 2027
Description
E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā marae maha puta noa i te motu, nau mai, haere mai!
In 2027, the Hui Tau o Aotearoa returns to the Waikato, bringing together whānau and friends of Te Hāhi o Ihu Karaiti o te Hunga Tapu o ngā Rā o Muri Nei for a special weekend of whakapono, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga and celebration of our Māori heritage and culture.
The Hui Tau has a rich history stretching back to the 1880s, when it began as a gathering for Māori Latter-day Saints to celebrate both Jesus Christ and Māori culture.
Over generations, Hui Tau has provided a place for spiritual strengthening, cultural expression and whānau to come together.
In 2027, the mauri of the hui returns to the Waikato.
