Human Centred AI Research at UQ
Human Centred AI (HCAI) involves the co-configuration of AI and humans to prioritize human needs, values, capabilities and wellbeing. It necessarily involves holistic, multi-stakeholder, multi-professional and multi-disciplinary perspectives. It focuses on ethical, inclusive and accountable AI systems that are accessible and beneficial for all.
In this panel, UQ researchers discuss various avenues of research and lessons in co-designing, building and evaluating HCAI. These projects include the Trauma Informed AI Toolkit, and the Mortar tool to support legal understanding and advocacy.
