CALHN EMET - Berri - Human Factors in Emergency Medicine Practice

This one-day face to face day is designed to introduce the principles and practical applications of human factors ED. The course focuses on understanding the role of human behaviour, decision-making, communication, and teamwork in your working environment.

Throughout the day, participants will explore how cognitive biases, fatigue, stress, and team dynamics impact performance in emergency medicine.  Using group discussion and interactive simulations, aimed at improving situational awareness, enhancing communication skills, and fostering effective team collaboration under stress.
