💜 September is Alzheimer’s Awareness Month — and while the official awareness month takes place in September, we’re bringing that spirit of awareness, connection and support into October as we celebrate 40 years of Alzheimer’s Otago. 💜
To mark this incredible milestone, we’re hosting a special 40th Anniversary Fundraiser Event and one-night-only screening of the powerful documentary Human Forever, in partnership with Alzheimers Otago.

🎬 About Human Forever
24-year-old care innovator Teun Toebes has a mission: to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia.
After spending years living in a closed dementia ward, Teun takes his mission global. Together with filmmaker Jonathan de Jong, he travels through 11 countries across 4 continents, exploring how dementia is understood and approached around the world — and what we can learn to create a more inclusive future.
Human Forever is a moving and thought-provoking film that challenges us to look differently at dementia, care, community and the way we value people living with dementia.

All funds raised from this event will go directly to Alzheimer’s Otago, helping them to:
