Ever wanted to be an ensemble conductor but not sure where to begin?
Calling all school teachers!
All school teachers, primary and secondary, are invited to join us at the Con for a free two-hour workshop on ensemble conducting.
Special guest, Dr Jim Coyle, will teach you some conducting tips and tricks so you can conduct your school ensemble like a Maestro! All participants will be sent a choral piece to read over before the workshop and everyone will get a chance to get on the podium to learn the basics of conducting the choir.
Dr Jim Coyle, Lecturer in Music Education at Sydney Conservatorium of Music, is passionate about creating new music for young musicians, school ensembles and children.
