Calling all HSC music students and teachers!
Anyone who is doing Year 11 and 12 HSC Music 1 or Music 2 in 2022 is invited to join us at the Con for our HSC Coaching Session, and no you don’t have to be receiving lessons from us to attend.
The night will be an opportunity to:
• go over the process of preparing your HCS performance pieces• check in on what you need to prepare for your composition, theory, aural skills and viva voces for the HSC
• look in detail at the timeline, where you should be at by certain key dates
• get answers to any questions you may have.
We will have experienced Hume Con staff at the night and probably a few local music teachers as well.
We will also be having special guests!
• Dr Jim Coyle, Lecturer in Music Education from Sydney Conservatorium, and experienced HSC Exam Marker - will be sharing his tips and tricks for composition, theory, aural and viva voces
• Jacqui Smith, Hume Con CEO can answer all your questions about where to study music after school and general tertiary education questions - she has spent the last 7 years working at the University of Sydney and Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
