Impact Reporting: The Hottest Trend of 2023

Impact reports are becoming the favoured way for companies to communicate the social and environmental impact they are creating in the world. In this session, we’ll cover why so many companies are embracing the annual impact report and how your small business can join in.

We’ll cover 8 key ingredients every impact report should have. We’ll talk about the do’s and don’ts of impact reports to make sure you avoid a few common pitfalls. Plus, we’ll share some examples of successful reports from 2022 crop to get you inspired.

And finally, we’ll provide a list of resources and a discount code to an impact reporting tool

About Your Host

Polina Pinchevsky has a decades’ long career as a social entrepreneur. She co-founded and serves as creative director for B Corp  RoundPeg, a public benefit corporation and marketing communications consultancy in Maryland, USA.

In 2020, she co-founded and currently serves as CEO for Unit Co. Unit Co is a majority women-owned, public benefit corporation founded by three B Corps to address a gap in the marketplace by creating a first-of-its-kind SaaS platform to make it easy for small businesses to measure and communicate their social and environmental impact.

What is Humming Sessions?

They are monthly lunch-and-learn sessions hosted for our team and our clients’ teams we all hum together even greater! It is hosted by Sponge over Zoom on the last Thursday of each month (excluding holidays), and we bring in an amazing guest speaker (like Annie!) to facilitate an important topic.

The Cost 

Free for Sponge clients! You will have been sent a code to use at the checkout to make it so. Non-clients are welcome to attend by purchasing a ticket at the advertised price.

All funds generated through ticket sales are donated to our current Double the Goodness grant recipients. At present there are two:

Detour House Inc, a wonderful organisation that provides accommodation and care to women and girls in the heart of Sydney through two services – Detour House and The Girls Refuge.

Scriibed, an early-stage, female-founded business providing professional transcription and engaging vulnerable women in safe, secure, and flexible employment, wrap-around supports, and partnered programs.
