You’re irrational, unreasonable, and irritated easily. But what if you were 14 years old, hungry, angry, and lacking the awareness to identify it or the resources to address it? Would you still be hangry? Or just plain hungry?
EVERY DAY IN COLORADO, 1 IN 7 KIDS DON’T KNOW WHEN OR WHERE THEY’LL GET THEIR NEXT MEAL.
Feeding hungry children can result in improved educational outcomes and fewer health and behavioral issues. What’s more, programs that feed children can also help families stretch their grocery budgets, generating hope and greater economic parity.
