The Hunter Ability Colour Festival 2026 is coming to Maitland for a morning of colour, music, movement, connection and seriously good fun, all in celebration of International Day of People with Disability!

The Hunter Ability Colour Festival is being created with our community, for our community, bringing together people with disability, families, friends, carers, support workers, local organisations, businesses and the wider Hunter community.
Whether you run, walk, wheel, dance, cheer from the sidelines or simply come along and soak up the atmosphere, there is a place for you here.
This is about celebrating ability, individuality and contribution.
It's about creating spaces where people don't just feel included, they know they belong.
