Hunter Permaculture: Building Resilient Families & Communities
Description
How can we raise children who feel connected, capable and confident in caring for themselves, their community and the planet?
Permaculture offers more than ways to grow food. Its ethics and principles can help us slow down, simplify family life and create environments where children can develop resilience, connection and a sense of belonging.
Join Sarah from the Cosmos and Sam from Acacia Play for a relaxed, practical and thoughtful session exploring how permaculture can support families and communities to live more simply and sustainably.
While children enjoy outdoor exploration, nature play and sustainable activities with Sam in the Acacia Play Area, adults can join Sarah for an open and welcoming conversation about applying permaculture principles to everyday family life.
Together, we'll explore ideas around slowing down, observing and responding with care, building connection with nature, nurturing resilience and creating simple rhythms that work for families in a busy world.
