Event description
Join us for the Inaugural Rainforest revival revegetation event in Maitland as part of the Hunter Rainforest Revival project.
This patch of land is in a key area and sits alongside the Hunter River at Oakhampton. We aim to transform the a 1500m2 paddock into a thriving riparian diverse dry rainforest as would have occurred before colonisation.
Families with children are welcome to take part.
Tools and instruction will be provided. A briefing and exciting project overview will take place at 9.30 with an appearance from our mascot the Regent Bowerbird!
