Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association

Membership of the Association is for lawyers from Newcastle, Hunter Valley and beyond who are interested in, or practice in, family law.  Membership provides a forum to share news and views, and to be kept up to date with relevant happenings in the Family Law sector, and in particular, happenings that are specific to the Newcastle Registry of the Family Law Courts.

As a HVFLPA member, we work to represent your interests by:

• Attending regular Registry Liaison Meetings and advocating on behalf of members
• Representing members’ interests to bodies who influence legislative changes
• Conducting meetings, seminars, publications and forums on issues relating to family law
• Providing regular bulletins and announcements
• Supporting law students by way of scholarships
• Providing a peer support network for practitioners
• Hosting social events
