Following the recital, join the artists for a post-performance supper at the Hunters Hill Town Hall curated exclusively by Simon Sandal and his team at Boronia Kitchen and Savannah Estate Wines.

Be enchanted by the wonderment of nature’s creation with Fauré’s Chanson d’Eve… mesmerised by the rhapsodic purity of the music of Hildegard Von Bingen… enraptured by Finnish mythology.

Hunters Hill Music has presented chamber music concerts in the municipality of Hunters Hill for over 80 years, with records showing events occurring under the banner of Hunters Hill Music in 1938, Hunters Hill Music (HHM) was officially established in 1944 under the guidance of Dr Mackerness.

After decades of presenting concerts, suddenly in 1995 the future of HHM appeared bleak. Local resident and music lover, Peter Egan stepped in and rescued the society, appointing operatic great Geoffrey Chard AM as the new President. From this time, Hunters Hill Music has grown again in strength and popularity, attracting many of Sydney’s finest musicians, including pianists Simon Tedeschi and Tamara-Anna Cislowska; singers Teddy Tahu-Rhodes, Tarryn Fiebig, Andrew Goodwin, Emma Matthews and Yvonne Kenny; the Streeton Trio, Australian Piano Quartet and the Orava Quartet.

In 2024, Hunters Hill Music Society entered a new chapter, with the appointment of local resident and violinist, Lerida Delbridge (Principal 2nd Violin, Sydney Symphony Orchestra) as President and a new committee of dedicated locals.
