Heretaunga Women’s Centre Christmas Raffle

Raffle Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility: The raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years or older. Employees, committee members, volunteers and contractors of Heretaunga Women’s Centre, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.

2. Raffle Period: Tickets will be sold from Thursday 14th November 2024 until close of business Tuesday 17th December 2024. No entries will be accepted after the closing date.

3. Ticket Purchases: Each raffle ticket costs $5.00, or $10.00 for 3 tickets. Tickets may be purchased in person at Heretaunga Women’s Centre, or at a HWC public stall, or online at Humantix

4. Prizes: Prizes will be awarded as described in the promotional materials. There are three prize packs, each valued at a minimum of $1,500 and containing various goods and services. Any vouchers included within a prize pack are valid only until the expiration date indicated on the voucher. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other substitutes. The first prize winner will select one of the three prize packs, the second prize winner will choose from the remaining two packs, and the third prize winner will receive the last prize pack.

5. Drawing the Winner: Winners will be selected at random in a draw conducted at Hastings Police Station on Wednesday 18th December 2024. Winners do not need to be present at the time of the draw.

6. Notification: Winners will be notified via email or telephone within 24 hours of the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted within 1 week from the draw, the prize may be forfeited, and a new winner will be drawn.

7. Prize Collection: Winners are responsible for collecting their prize from Heretaunga Women’s Centre by 31 January 2025. Prizes not collected by this date will be forfeited. If the prize needs to be posted or couriered, this will be at the winner’s expense. Prizes can only be delivered to a valid New Zealand address. HWC accepts no liability for prizes that go missing during delivery.

8. Liability: Heretaunga Women’s Centre is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participation in the raffle or use of the prizes.

9. Modifications: Heretaunga Women’s Centre reserves the right to modify or cancel the raffle at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

10. Acceptance: By purchasing a raffle ticket, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
