In collaboration with the Resources Industry Training Council (RITC), Integrated Energy will be facilitating Hydrogen Awareness Training. The training is an introductory course for training and development specialists, government policy developers, union representatives, course program directors, career advisors and industry participants with none or little knowledge of hydrogen technologies, opportunities and workforce implications. Additionally, it will reference to the safe and efficient design and operation of hydrogen plants, infrastructure and applicable national and international codes and standards for hydrogen technologies, business and workforce implications. Takeaway references will be provided.

The half day course will be facilitated by Managing Director, David Cavanagh and Monica Deoghare, Principal Technology Consultant of Integrated Energy. Please see their Bios below. 

David Cavanagh - Managing Director

David Cavanagh - Managing Director of Integrated Energy holds an M.B.B.S. (Medicine) and a B. Eng (Mechanical) from the University of Western Australia. He is a recognised expert in hydogen and integrated operations and digital transformation across the full resource value stream, with a proven track record in consulting and delivery which have identified tens of billions of dollars of value for his clients around the world, while also saving and enhancing lives. David authors national standards in hydrogen mobility for land, air and sea and his company is current engaged in hydrogen related projects with a value exceeding exceeding $30 billion. Connecting clients, customers and capital to enable high impact sustainable economic projects worldwide, Integrated Energy featured  strongly in the Australian stand for United Nations COP 26 in Glasgow.

David brings three decades of energy and resources experience, with locations spanning six continents, and even into space. With a background in medicine and  engineering, his practice brings together psychology, technology and architecture, so people can work better together. David’s impressive global client list in hydrogen and  energy includes; Infinite Blue Energy, Hydrogen West, Victoria Hydrogen and Ammonia, INPEX, Conoco  Phillips, Woodside, Santos, BP, Shell International, Exxon, ADCO, Petronas, Oil Search, QGC, and Lukoil; in resources and processing Rio, Newcrest, OCP; in  technology IBM and Baker Hughes; clean energy startups, a leading space agency, as well as governments and universities in three countries.

He is the author of several publications including SPE papers and a book for Shell, a course which has been delivered in six countries and three languages, and  chairs global conference streams.

David founded Integrated Energy Pty Ltd to enable safer, more valuable operations and projects, which are better for the people working on them and the  environment around us. Integrated Energy do this by providing a better way of working which considers people, process, organisation, technology  and the  physical working environment, and have won innovation awards for their work in LNG and Floating LNG in  Australia. This involves designing and implementing  new business models, with forward looking technology.

Monica Deoghare - Principal Technology Consultant

Based in Perth, Australia, Monica is our co presenter who has in the past presented on Hydrogen and Electric Vehicles Course for international clients. Monica has contributed to Australian standards review for Hydrogen and has over four years experience as an assistant professor in the mechanical engineering department, guided more than five mechanical engineering projects. Monica has experience on many hydrogen and renewable projects mainly specifying functional requirements of mechanical components, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Process Flow Diagrams and conducting detailed solar and hydrogen analysis. Additionally, Monica has worked on hydrogen total cost of ownership and total value of operation tool for one of the Logistics Company in Western Australia and for UK project, did analysis on routes , distance, and transportation cost for Western Australia for one of the hydrogen trucking company to finalize their specs. Monica has published more than eight research papers in International journals and conferences and a research paper reviewer at Australian Journal of Mechanical Engineering.
