Hyphenated - Feast

Join us for a night of delicious food, art and conversation at our inaugural community ‘feast’ in the gallery.

We’ve invited the team from Kabul Social, a Plate it Forward restaurant, to create a delicious buffet meal inspired by traditional Afghan flavours from the streets of Kabul to be served amidst our exhibition, Hyphenated.

Walk through the exhibition and hear stories behind the artworks from the curator and some of the exhibiting artists, then share a meal at a long table and connect over food and chilled wine, all while contributing to real social change.

The food will be prepared and served by Plate it Forward’s staff; refugees who have gained training and been given meaningful work at their restaurants.

Plate it Forward is harnessing the universal love of food in a mission to break the cycle of inequality. Their vision is to transform Sydney’s hospitality landscape through intertwining delicious food with powerful social impact. With each meal served, you're helping them give back to Sydney's communities in need.

5.30pm - Drinks and private exhibition viewing
6.00pm - Curator and artists walkthrough
6.30pm - Buffet
