Event description

Join us for a screening of I am Gaza (2009), a powerful documentary by Asma Bseiso.

I am Gaza discusses the persisting impacts of war on Palestinians in Gaza, especially children. The film shares stories of individuals in the wake of the first war on Gaza in 2008-2009 and highlights the short and long-term psychological and social impacts through conversations with the late psychiatrist Dr Eyad Al-Sarraj.

The screening will be followed by discussion with our panelists:

• Dr Rana Tayara
Dr Rana Tayara is a Psychologist and a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health's Discipline of Counseling at the University of Canberra.

• Shaz Davis (they/them)

Don't miss this opportunity to watch an important documentary and join the discussion.
