IBAC Forum: Corruption risks in local government (Benalla)

In the lead-up to an election period, integrity risks can be heightened. Attend this in-person forum to learn how to identify, prevent and manage them.

The next Victorian local council elections will be held in October 2024. Ahead of this busy period, IBAC will be in Benalla to educate and support local government staff, integrity and governance officers, administrative officers and public sector leaders within Benalla Rural City and surrounding council areas.

Register now for this free, in-person forum, which will focus on the unique risks that small shire councils face in an election year, plus the ongoing corruption risks in local government, including conflicts of interest, misuse of information and resources, improper influence and vulnerabilities in procurement.

This forum will feature short presentations, discussion and Q&A with:
