ICN Climate Readiness Accelerator Program (Pilot)

Industry Capability Network's 12-week Climate Readiness Accelerator Program is a practical, hands-on program designed to help businesses fast-track their climate journey and prepare for mandatory climate reporting (even as suppliers to reporting companies). At the end of this program, participants will walk away with a climate action plan.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The program covers 10 modules. Each module incorporates a presentation (including guest speakers and case studies), a live Q&A/discussion, online modules and weekly activities. Activities are centred around developing your business climate strategy. Our climate coaches will review activities and provide guidance to keep participants on track.

• Mandatory Climate Reporting (MCR)​

• Measuring and reporting emissions ​

• Addressing supply chain (scope 3) emissions ​

• Setting reduction targets ​

• Creating a climate action plan ​

• Offsets and insets ​

• Climate governance ​

• Climate risk and opportunities ​

• Choosing a climate platform

TIME COMMITMENT

The estimated time commitment is between 2 to 5 hours per week over the 12 weeks (including a few weeks at the end to finalise your plan). Most activities can be undertaken in your own time. Each week includes:

• 1-hour presentation (live or recorded)

• 1-hour discussion (live - optional)

• Completion of online module (15 mins - 1 hour)

• Course activities (30 mins - 2 hours)

• Recommended readings (30 mins - 1 hour)
