ICN Victoria is excited to host the Central Gippsland Project Showcase 2025 on Tuesday 25 February 2025.
This exclusive event is your opportunity to gain insights into key local infrastructure projects and connect with industry leaders driving regional development.
About the Projects
Sporting venues in the Gippsland region are set for exciting upgrades through the Victorian Government's Regional Sports Infrastructure Program, ensuring it remains a key destination for sports, entertainment and community activities.
Ted Summerton Reserve
The Ted Summerton Reserve in Moe will receive a refurbishment of the oval, lighting, scoreboard and sight screen,
accessibility improvements, new changerooms, refurbishment of the existing pavilion and new terracing.
Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium
The Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium project will deliver a refurbishment of courts, foyer and broadcasting
facilities, new solar panels, and change room and other amenity upgrades.
Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park
The Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park project will deliver a new grandstand with change rooms and amenities,
function space and spectator seating, a new change facility, redevelopment of 2 fields of play with lighting and
player facilities, an upgrade to an additional field of play and car parking.
Morwell Gun Club
The Morwell Gun Club will get two new shotgun trap shooting ranges and security fencing.

Josh Wilson Acting Executive Manager Sports Legacy and Activation Latrobe City Council Projects: Latrobe City Council pipeline |
Josh is a civil engineer that has lived in Latrobe City for 24 years, and worked with Latrobe City Council for 14 years specialising in infrastructure delivery and asset management. Currently Josh is the Acting Executive Manager of Sports Legacy and Activation which sees him leading a small team to deliver infrastructure upgrades to Latrobe City venues impacted by the cancellation of the 2026 Commonwealth Games, as well as the Council Support Package, both of which are funded by the State Government. |

Dustin Hodge Project Manager Sports Legacy Latrobe City Council Project: Ted Summerton Reserve |
Following 15 years experience working within private, commercial, and public construction sectors, Dustin joined Latrobe City Council in 2018 as a construction project manager. He has overseen building, civil works, and recreation projects and is passionate about combining local sport and construction. |

Kylie Stockdale Project Lead Sports Legacy and Activation Latrobe City Council Project: Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium |
Kylie joined Latrobe City Council 10 years ago, commencing in the Governance team before transitioning to Major Projects team 7 years ago. She has overseen the successful delivery local construction projects, including the Flynn Hall & Tennis Courts, Hazelwood South Reserve Soccer Pavilion, and Yinnar & District Community Hall refurbishment. |

Matthew Hayden Senior Project Manager Development Victoria Projects: Morwell Gunn Club & Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park |
Matt Hayden is a Senior Project Manager for Development Victoria and is in the Sports Portfolio team. He is working across both the Gippsland Sports and Entertainment Park and Morwell Gun Club Projects within the Latrobe Valley as part of the Regional Sports Infrastructure Program. Matt started his career at Development Victoria initially working on the NGV Contemporary project, before moving into the sporting sector, as a part of the delivery teams for the State Netball and Hockey Centre, State Basketball Centre and Bulleen Park Sporting Facilities. Matt is passionate about the impact that public infrastructure delivery can have on the State and communities. |
