Event description

How to transform management into exceptional cross-cultural leadership

What is iCulture360?

Our two-day iCulture360 Masterclass explores the intersectional of unconscious bias, personal attributes for effective leadership, stakeholder collaboration and strategic implementation while operating from a culturally safe and trauma-informed lens to improve the lived experiences of Aboriginal people and communities.

iCulture360 encourages leaders to be the best version of themselves while reaching their full people potential as corporate change-makers that contribute to creating culturally safe workplaces alongside Aboriginal people and communities. Our work in the Masterclass is robust, transparent, thoughtful, and driven by the knowledge that when we know better, we do better—therefore our focus remains to build individual courage, curiosity and clarity for greater purpose and impact.

This Masterclass is not for everyone: it is not more mediocre, bare minimum, pass the buck leadership. It is for the leaders who are not afraid of unconscious bias, who take responsibility, hold themselves accountable, lean into uncomfortable conversations and most importantly—it is for the ones who want to make a difference.

The leaders in iCulture360 demonstrate personal attributes of resilience, courage, integrity, self-management and value diversity and inclusion. The Masterclass explores strategies to create and nurture authentic relationships where values are aligned, communication is clear, expectations are managed, collaboration is a priority and conflict resolution occurs without resistance. Enhancing a leader’s ability to critically self-reflect creates an opportunity to influence and negotiate highly complex matters with profound consideration and understanding.

This program is for non-Indigenous leaders in middle management to senior leadership positions who are committed to expanding their skills, knowledge and experience in becoming the cultural safety corporate change-makers in their organisations. We encourage leaders within human resources, talent acquisition, and learning and development, and those responsible for the implementation of Aboriginal or First Nations strategic plans such as a Reconciliation Action Plan, Aboriginal employment strategy and Indigenous Procurement Plan t to attend participate.

What you’ll get out of working with us

iCulture360 help people leaders and organisations to gain the knowledge, skills and experience to embed First Nations culture and connection into their day-to-day actions and leadership. Through iCulture360 we:

  • Identify strategies to build culturally safe and empowering employee-manager relationships.
  • Identify and implement strategies to grow and develop First Nations talent.
  • Understand Aboriginal workplace and community leadership styles.
  • Identify individual and collective leadership activities to positively influence the advancement of Aboriginal careers.
