Frontline workers play a critical role in identifying when legal issues arise and connecting clients with the right support. This practical session will equip professionals with strategies to recognise legal challenges, understand available pathways, and support clients safely through the legal system.
The session is designed to be interactive and discussion-based, providing an opportunity to share experiences, build confidence, and develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday practice.
What you will learn:
How to recognise legal issues clients may be experiencing
When and how to refer clients to access legal supports
Practical strategies for supporting clients to engage with legal help
What the referral process looks like at WLSQ and how clients receive support
Tools to translate legal knowledge into everyday practice
