Celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities with Blind Sports WA on Tuesday, December 3rd at the Bunbury Golf Club. This inspiring event is designed to promote inclusivity, community connection, and active participation in Blind Golf. Best of all, it's completely free! 10:00 am - 11:30 am: Blind Golf "Come & Try" Session
- Location: Driving Range & Putting Green
- Experience the excitement of Blind Golf with hands-on guidance. No prior experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm!
11:45 am - 12:45 pm: Lunch & Networking
- Location: Clubhouse
- Enjoy a delicious lunch while connecting with fellow participants, volunteers, and golf enthusiasts.
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Seminar on Blind Golf
- Location: Clubhouse/Function Room
- Topics Include:
- Vision Impairment Awareness: Understand various vision loss conditions and the unique challenges faced by the BVI (Blind and Visually Impaired) community.
- Becoming a Sighted Guide: Gain the skills needed to support BVI individuals, enhancing their independence and experience in Blind Golf.
